I first met Alex a couple of years ago during a photo shoot for a bridal magazine, he was modeling as the groom and he did an amazing job. Just weeks before his wedding he asked me to photograph him again; as a real groom this time :-). It felt really good when he told me that he could not imagine anybody else photographing his wedding and that he did not care what it would cost.
Alex and Kelli chose to hold the wedding in their backyard. It was very intimate and personal; they invited only their close family and best friends. We had an absolute blast documenting their day. Kelly Rashka was my second shooter.

That’s Kelli in the background. Alex is a professional skydiving instructor and he recently hurt his back; so he was limited to very light physical work.

We moved the couch and went to town in their living room.
While I was working inside, Kelly was shooting from outside.
I loved, loved Kelli’s windows!

The food was amazing; Alex’s family is from Cuba so they hired Havana Cafe’s catering service.
They had a slideshow with images from their childhood.

Alex and Kelli, thank you so much for having us at your house; it was a great honor.
